Do you take my dental insurance?

At North Tahoe Dental, we accept all dental insurance plans, except those that require you to see a specific dentist (these are rare). However, we are not ‘in network’ or ‘preferred providers’ for any insurance companies.**

**We are currently listed as an in network preferred provider on Delta Dental’s site. However, we are currently in the process of getting out of Delta’s network.

I don’t have dental insurance. What can I do?

For those without dental insurance, we are now offering affordable internal membership plans with no hidden fees, yearly maximums. or deductibles. Learn more about the membership advantages here. If you don’t have a membership plan or dental insurance, we will work with you to come up with an in-house payment plan that works for you.

Will you accept dental x-rays from my previous dentist?

Yes! We prefer to receive dental x-rays via email.

I'm in town on vacation and have a dental issue. What should I do?

Contact us at either our Truckee CA dental office or our Tahoe City CA dental office and let us know what dental health problems you may be experiencing. We will help you figure out if you should be seen right away or if you can make it back home to your regular dentist.

Do you see children at your dental practice?

We typically start seeing kids around the age of 10. If they are much younger than that, we encourage you to have your kids see a pediatric dentist.

I am in pain. What should I do?

Call either of our dental offices. If it is during our normal business hours ,we will make every attempt to see you immediately. After hours, an emergency contact number will be left on the voicemail that will allow you to get in touch with Dr. Fligor or another dentist. Please note, prescriptions will not be given out if you are not a previous patient of record.
